Architectural fabrication and metalwork specialists; Rank Engineering, Bristol, have just finished the supply, manufacture and installation of an eye-catching, public artwork called CIPHER by Jo Lathwood at Dean Street Student Accommodation, St Pauls, Bristol.  The key to decode the cipher is located on a nearby plaque so head down- take a look, and see if you can figure out the true meaning of this innovative piece.  Rank Engineering also installed some powder coated, aluminium perforated screens at the same location.  CIPHER was laser cut from 2mm stainless steel sheet and powder coated with Axalta Corten Trans, an innovative coating system, which provides full, corrosion protection and ensures an exceptionally, long service life.
