History:

Rank Engineering was founded in 1994 by the present owners and directors Heather and Graham Richmond. The company was established to offer industry leading, quality assured, structural steelwork and metal fabrication services. We have always sought to expand our experience and services to include different industries as well as the latest materials, skills and technologies. Initially based on Netham Rd it has continued to expand and develop over the years and now occupies a sizeable factory warehouse on the Barton Hill Industrial Estate. We operate a full manufacturing and production facility including state of the art equipment and an expert workforce.

Investment:

Recently, the Company has invested vast sums in updating its comprehensive facilities, with the addition of the latest equipment such as:

  • £80,000 on an Esprit Lightening S CNC Plasma Table, fitted with a Hypertherm MaxPro 200 cutting system, capable of cutting profiles up to 40mm thick, with a max cutting size of 3000 x 1500mm.
  • £36,000 on a 3M/6mm Morgan Rushworth Guillotine.
  • £40,000 on a new fleet of VW motors including a Flatbed and a Transporter.

Reputation:

Although Rank Engineering is still very much a family run business, it now boasts a highly skilled and qualified workforce, whose long-standing commitment and professionalism have contributed towards its respectable reputation and ample market share evident today.

Rank Engineering prides itself on its ability to take on a wide variety of metal fabrication projects. We always aim for a quick turnaround on projects with metalwork produced to a very high specification.
